Importance of time

TIME AND PUNCTUALITY

General attitudes toward time

According to World, trade press The persons who live in Norwegian have a great consideration as the time and the punctuality, unlike the Colombians that if the appointment is at 4:00 pm we come at 5:00 for that the one who would come at 4 a.m. exactly? And clearly we do not want to be the first ones. The Norwegians are punctual so much in managerial as social situations. To gain the confidence of a norgueo is important the punctuality, always to expire with the schedules. In fact they consider a rude gesture to be late to the appointments

Business Engagements

In Norwegian it performs supreme importance to come punctually to all the meetings, is considered to be discourteous if the opposite happens. Of the same way it happens in Colombia, when it is a question of business meetings the persons are in the habit of being more conscious that they must be punctual. In Norwegian they must come exactly in time. In Colombia if we are more flexible, one gives a space of 15 minutes (approximately) to begin the meeting, for the opposite Norwegian it is unacceptable even 5 minutes come late, if they know that they are a bit mentally handicapped they must call to give an explanation. The cancellation of an appointment in I finalize of minute it will have a negative impact to his image.
With regard to the public transport it is very reliable to travel in, because always it goes in time. Very different to what it goes on in colombia, where the transport I publish the majority of the time it is delayed.

Social Engagements

To the moment to invite to have dinner a Norwegian is preferable to come punctually, nevertheless for show restraint informal this one allowed to come up to 15 minutes after the hour of the invitation and for the holidays even this allowed to come up to 30 minutes after the hour of the invitation. In colombia is similar, though some persons excel themselves and are capable of coming until an hour later.
